Handling Agreement/Services and Rates for 2008                                







         

 

Handling Fees (per day):

Handling at All Breed Shows   $65.00 (this fee will be based on the amount of coat preparation required each day of showing)
If your dog is booked for 4 or more shows you are required to give the handler a $500 retainer.

Handling at Specialty Shows   $75.00

Best In Show      $125.00
Groups                 $ 75.00
Sweeps                $ 65.00

 

Additional Fees and Service Charges:

Boarding - $12.00 per day (includes food, supplements, training and regular daily grooming and conditioning, any additional grooming and conditioning charged accordingly)

 Boarding visiting bitches in for breeding to clients dogs - $15.00 per day

 Breeding fee $100.00 per service per bitch.

Airport pick-up or drop off to Seattle Airport $50.00 (this is to cover ferry/gas expenses)

Show traveling expenses will be divided equally between the number of dogs, including ringside ready clients dogs that are not staying with handler (and will also include handler's own dogs) at each particular show or show weekend. This includes expenses for transportation, parking, gas, ferry, lodging, power and miscellaneous dog expenses.  Expenses currently on an average for a weeke

Billing and Payment

 Billing will be sent out via email every month.  The bill is due upon receipt. 



Entries

All entry fees to be paid by owner.  If we are making entries for your dog we use Best In Show Sevices (1-8---247-7005).  The Service requires that
you set up an account on your credit card and authorize us to make entries for your dogs.  If yo choose to make your own entries you are
responsible for geting them in on time.

 

Terms and Conditions:

Client agrees to pay all entry fees and assumes responsibility for making entries unless prior arrangements have been made for handlers to make
entries and a FAX or phone entry account has been set up to charge all fees to the owners.

Client agrees to notify handler as to which shows will be entered.  It is further understood that failure of client to enter the dog or a decision not to send the dog to the show, after verbally contracting the handler to show the dog for a specific show or shows, will result in assessment of full handling fees for said shows.  Fees will also be assessed in full if client withdraws a dog.

It is understood that the owner of the dog will assume all costs incurred by the handler for any medical treatment by a Veterinarian required for the dog while under the supervision of the handler.  It is further agreed that the handler shall determine the need for any veterinary care for the dog while under their supervision.  Although every procaution will be taken to avoid any incident, the handler cannot be held responsible should any ill fortune
befall the dog.

It is the client's responsibility to advise the handler of any habits the dog may have that could present a problem in giving safe and adequate care
in the handler's facility or at a dog show.  It is also the client's responsiblity to furnish instructions and medications if the dog is on medication of any kind.  Clients are required to keep their dogs' vaccinations current.

It is understood that the handler, Holly Fitzhardinge, also exhibits dogs that she owns, co-owns or co-bred.  Although her name might on these dogs, the actual owners must still pay their share of expenses for the weekend.  Therefore, these dogs will be treated in the same manner as all other dogs in the set up.

 

Shots

Dogs should be current on DHLPP, Rabies and Bordatella at all times.

Scheduling Coflicts

Unfortunately scheduling conflicts occasinally arise.  The handler will make every effort to show your dog but in the event of a conflict the handler
has the sole right to choose the best qualified handler available.  The Client understands that they will be responsible to pay the handler regardless
of who shows the dog.


Prize and Cash Awards

The Handler will collect all ribbons, trophies and cash awards given to your dog.  The ribons and trophies will be dispersed to the owner at the
earliest convenience.  All cash awards from sweepstakes, futurities, invitationals, etc that your dog ma win shall be retained by the handler.

 Liability
The client understands and agrees to remain responsible for the acts of the dog while in the care of the handler.  The client agrees to be
responsible for any bite or injury to any person and to be responsible for any property damage caused by the client's dog while in the care
and custody of the handler.  The handler agrees to exercise all due and reasonable care to prevent any accident caused by the client's
dog.

The handler agees to provide safe and clean quarters for your dog at all times.The handler further agrees to provide the best possible care to ensure the well being and safety of your dog.


This agreement may be modified at any time and signed by all parties. This agreement is binding on all parties.
